Great Week.

It has been a GREAT week. Well it has been great since Friday night!

Friday night ended with a sleepover with my two best friends Gabi and Alexis! Saturday morning started with a breakfast with all of my friends for Britton's birthday, but it didn't stop there. A bunch of them stayed and hung at my house all morning and all afternoon until it got to hot that is because our air wasn't working. I love hanging with them. We can lay around and do absolutely nothing, and have a BLAST! Later Saturday I walked over to the church park for the Pioneer Day celebration. Which I must say was one of the BEST in a looong time. Tori sang beautifully and all my bestest friends were there to spend it with me. It was very hot and boy did I look a mess by the end, but it was a very fun-filled day with tons of food and fun.

Since the air wasn't working when we got home we backed up all our stuff (including a long list of medical crap) and headed off to grandmas to spend the night, or so we thought. That night ended up turning into like three days. But it was fun! I love hanging at grandmas house. Especially when all my favorite foods are there. I got my drivers ed done and had plenty of time to work on my CF high calorie cook book I am working on. Thanks to that I am almost done now!

I felt GREAT all week. PICC lines seriously work miracles!

Monday was pretty great too. I got to go to Michael's (scrappbooking store) and pick out paper, stickers, and flowers for my cookbook! It is going to look so pretty! All purple and black with paper flowers and wonderful recipes. I can't wait for it to be done. I kind of through a fit at the store and then was mad the rest of the night to the point where target could barely even cheer me up. But that passed.

Tuesday was good too. It was long but good. I felt good after doing an extra treatment to get some gunk out of me. We got to go back home too! The air was finally working again! I also got me some ice cream. Bomb Pops and Fudgcicles. My favorite! After mutual I went with Kyle to 7-Eleven and got us some Slurpees and candy for our movie night at Nicole's house! We watched Benchwarmers and laughed the night away. I love that my PICC doesn't hold me back from hanging out with my friends.

Wednesday was amazing! I woke up feeling wonderful. Got ready and then went to the Fashion Show Mall with Tori love and Brianne and my mommy. And got to see the huge department store sized Forever 21! While I was there I got to see two of my awesome older, graduated friends Hannibal and Manuel! I didn't think I could be any happier. Until my mom let me get 4 new shirts and 2 Crepes for lunch. When I got home I did my hair and another treatment and vest then went to Sammy's to hang out with cousins and friends! We played CRUD and then just sat around and talked. It was nice to hang out with friends and my friends always love it when I do my PICC medicine.

Today was a great success! I had my follow-up appointment. Good news! My PFT's went up again. I blew a 81% !! How exciting. I was so happy. I couldn't stop smiling. And to add to the greatness I got my PICC out. Man was my arm irritated from all that tape. It's all good now. My brother also had his follow up appointment. And guess what?! He went up like 20%. He was a 69 and now he is at 92%. (That's what happens when you go from not ever doing your treatments, to doing all of them plus some!)

I am so happy. I am feeling great and all is going well. To add to the joy and excitement my favorite cousin from arizona is coming to visit and then I get to go back with him for a week!

YAY! I love my life.

Pictures are soon to come! (internet is going to slow right now)

Carrie Underwood - Temporary Home

I absolutely love this song. I heard it on the radio today. Wasn't my first time but I really listened to the lyrics and it made my smile but want to cry at the same time. It was a weird combination, but I know this is my temporary home and that I am just here for a while and then I will move on, but while I am here (which I plan to be for a long time) I am going to cherish it and live life to the fullest. Always being happy with a smile and my face. Doing the best at all I can do.

"This is my temporary Home
It's not where I belong.
Windows and rooms that I'm passin' through.
This was just a stop,on the way to where I'm going.
I'm not afraid because I know... this was
My temporary home."

This is our temporary home.

Another song of hers that I love is Jesus Take the Wheel. We can't do everything on our own. You can be strong and try but when it comes down to it, you need help. I know I need help. And I can get the help through faith and prayer.

Jesus, take the wheel
Take it from my hands
Cause I can't do this on my own

I'm letting go
So give me one more chance
To save me from this road I'm on
Jesus, take the wheel

Sometimes times can be rough. I may not be feeling good, or I could be having a hard time with school or in a tough spot with my friends. Whatever it may be I know that I can turn to the Lord and pray and everything will be alright. I just need to remember that and be happy.

Everything will be okay.

Scatter Sunshine.

In a world where sorrow ever will be known,
Where are found the needy and the sad and lone,

How much joy and comfort you can all bestow,
If you scatter sunshine everywhere you go.

Scatter sunshine all a long your way.
Cheer and bless and brighten every passing day.
Scatter the smiles and sunshine all a long over your way.
Cheer and bless and brighten every passing day.

Slightest actions often meet the sorest needs,
For the world wants daily little kindly deeds.
Oh, what care and sorrow you may help remove,
With your songs and courage, sympathy and love.

Scatter sunshine all a long your way.
Cheer and bless and brighten every passing day.
Scatter the smiles and sunshine all a long over your way.
Cheer and bless and brighten every passing day.

When the days are gloomy, Sing some happy song;
Meet the world's repining with a courage strong.
Go with faith undaunted thru the ills of life;
Scatter smiles and sunshine over its toil and strife.

Scatter sunshine all a long your way.
Cheer and bless and brighten every passing day.
Scatter the smiles and sunshine all a long over your way.
Cheer and bless and brighten every passing day.

This is a song we sang at church today. I don't know why I felt like putting it up here or why I liked it so much. It just made me happy and put a smile on my face. I hope it will do the same for whoever reads it. I just to be happy and I want every to be happy to. No matter what. Keep a smile on your face and don't let little things bring you down. You can conquer anything if you set your mind to it. Love y'all!

I finally get to go home! My doctor came this afternoon and said I can go. My nurse got my stuff ready. Now the home health care is getting all said up. Soon I will be able to go home. ASAP. Hopefully I can get a nurse at home to do my dose at 6. Or at least have them send me my stuff. I am so ready to get out of here. I will miss my visitors and sometimes the food, but I think I'm going crazy. I am so ready to be home. Hopefully the home health care cooperates. We will see how it goes. Goodbye hospital room!
